Ernie Anderson originally founded the company in Chicago in 1946. Upon Ernie’s death in 1950, Aunt Leona asked her nephew George Anderson to take over the fledgling business. The company flourished, becoming one of the premiere mold making facilities in the United States in the 1950`s and 1960`s.

In 1964 the Holland plant was open to facilitate tool making for the Chicago facility. Gradually molding capabilities were added to the Holland plant.

In August of 1990, George Anderson sold the Holland company to his son Glenn. The company operated under the name Holland Plastics Corporation from ‘88 to June 2000 when the name was changed to Anderson Technologies, Inc.

Glenn’s desire to purchase the Holland, Michigan based operation was strongly influenced by his belief that the Western Michigan area has a strong commitment to family and community values. The commitment to these values causes great opportunity for high levels of corporate development.
