It’s easy to find plastic injection molders who will
make cheap parts to a specification. Unfortunately, they
don’t help you analyze which materials are the best
choices for your application; show you significant cost-saving
options; or develop sophisticated prototypes to uncover
potential problems. They just ship parts.
When you work with Anderson Technologies, you add 62
years of injection molding knowledge to your team.
You get comprehensive support and intelligence through
all phases of product lifecycle management. You get a
group of professional, dedicated people who have worked
in a variety of industries with every possible molding
material. You’ll get quality and on-time
delivery.
And of course…you also get very competitive
pricing. That goes without saying.
Step One: Ideation
Anderson's Role: work with you to establish
performance criteria, identify product goals, and look
at manufacturability issues.
Step Two: Concept
Anderson's Role: review of the initial product
design for effectiveness in regard to performance
criteria; recommend materials and product design
improvements, discuss sustainability options.
Step Three: Product Design
Anderson's Role: create 3D CAD model; confirm
design, tolerance requirements, fit, function; perform
FEA, MoldFlow analysis, cooling analysis, etc.
Step Four: Prototype
Anderson's Role: create 3D rapid prototype
models; apply FEA analysis overlaid onto the
component(s) model; recommend design modifications;
discuss cost-saving options for the mold. Produce design
verification models for DFMEA, fit and function.
Step Five: Testing/Pre-production
Anderson's Role: build short-run components via
prototype tooling; perform cycle or other performance
testing; evaluate test data; make recommendations based
upon scientific testing and validation.
Step Six: Manufacturing
Anderson's Role: design and manufacture
injection molds, dies, fixtures; source materials and
purchase components; build assemblies; reclaim and
recycle scrap.
Step Seven: Product Support
Anderson's Role: evaluate product performance
data; manage program(s); trouble-shoot warranty issues.
